These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the KarLink platform provided by KarLink LLC ("KarLink", "we", "our", or "us").
By creating or using a KarLink account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
KarLink provides a software platform designed for automotive dealerships to manage service requests, parts orders, technician media uploads, and related operational workflows.
The platform may include:
• Repair and service request management
• Appointment and express service request processing
• Parts order tracking
• Technician photo and video uploads
• Temporary customer service pages
• Transactional notifications to dealership staff
KarLink is provided as a business-to-business software service intended for use by authorized dealership personnel.
2. Account Access
KarLink accounts are issued to dealership employees and administrators.
Users are responsible for:
• maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
• ensuring account access is used only for authorized dealership purposes
Password resets may be performed by dealership administrators or KarLink system administrators.
3. Authorized Use
Users may use KarLink only for legitimate dealership operational activities.
Users agree not to:
• use the platform for unlawful purposes
• upload malicious software
• attempt to gain unauthorized system access
• interfere with platform functionality
4. Dealership Responsibilities
Dealerships are responsible for:
• the accuracy of information entered into the platform
• ensuring appropriate authorization for employees using KarLink
• complying with applicable laws related to customer data
Dealerships control the operational records entered into the system.
5. Customer Service Pages
KarLink allows dealership personnel to generate temporary service pages for customers.
These pages:
• are generated by dealership staff
• are accessible through secure temporary URLs
• expire automatically after a defined period
Dealerships are responsible for determining when and how these pages are shared with customers.
6. Data Ownership
Operational data entered into the KarLink platform remains the property of the dealership that created the data.
KarLink processes such information solely for the purpose of providing the platform.
7. Data Retention
KarLink retains operational records for defined periods necessary to support dealership workflows and platform functionality.
Archived data may remain in backup systems for additional time as part of system reliability and disaster recovery procedures.
8. Service Availability
KarLink works to maintain reliable platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Maintenance, infrastructure events, or external service provider outages may affect availability.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KarLink LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
10. Termination
Dealerships may terminate their use of KarLink at any time.
Upon termination:
• access to the platform may be disabled
• operational records may remain stored for defined retention periods
Data exports may be provided upon request.
11. Modifications
KarLink may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
